The business school at Case Western Reserve University has a new
building -- a Frank Gehry concotion that was most recently in the news
when snow sliding off its irregular, tilted roof started to pose a
danger to pedestrians. Further disadvantages of the architectural
style have become apparent: a gunman in the building recently took
advantage of its irregular geometry to keep a SWAT team confused and
on the run,
holding them
off for hours.
Which will surely help build anticpation at MIT towards the opening
of The Stata
Center.
