I understand that some folks on the right are upset about the use of funerals as platforms for political statements, even about causes that were near and dear to the deceased.
I wonder what they think of the Gettysburg address?

Ah, yes... but they wouldn't be worked up so much about the content of the speech, as that he was tasteless enough to deliver it at a funeral. He was one of these anti-American liberals, you see, who didn't support the military, and didn't know how to properly honor the memory of the troops...
