Prominent among the knickknacks as of yesterday evening: the "Cthulu the King" plush, depicting the green, tentacle-mouthed Lovecraftian horror in full Elvis-in-Vegas regalia, complete with glitter-crusted cape and molded black curled pompadour. On the back, under the cape, is a tag which informs the reader that this item was made in China.

Somewhere in China, someone had to explain to a factory full of disbelieving workers that yes, there were people in America who wanted to buy these.
