There is some good news in the world today. China, whose continual
food and oil shipments make it the only other state with any leverage
at all over North Korea, has lately made
it plain that continued development of the North Korean nuclear
arms program could have consequences for the government there -- by,
among other things, shipping no oil through their pipeline for three
days straight. That's a turnabout for the Chinese, who had previously been opposed to any sanctions regime, as I've noted earlier. Via the Agonist.
